Last year, at Expo West 2012, we debuted Sneaky Pete’s Oatstanding Beverage. This year, at Expo West 2013, we debuted our new packaging!
A 2013 Bevnet.com article published prior to the Expo West show announced that, “Sneaky Pete’s has completely overhauled the packaging for its line of oat-based drinks and will debut the new look at the upcoming Natural Products Expo West show. The revamp comes amid growing consumer awareness of oat beverages, a nascent category that – according to one industry expert – appears primed for a breakout year.”
For those of you who may be wondering, what is an oats based beverage, allow us to share.
Sneaky Pete’s is not thick like an oat shake at all, despite containing 3 grams of fiber–the equivalent fiber amount found in leading oatmeal. Rather, Sneaky Pete’s texture is similar to that of water or juice. Also, our oats based beverages come in 5 flavors and are only 40 calories making them a popular alternative to soft drinks, juices and other calorie filled beverages.
The BevNet article also shared that, “Sneaky Pete’s was initially positioned as a kids’ drink. As the brand gained new distribution and retail authorizations, the company found that its products had gained traction among a range of age groups, and decided to alter its packaging to reflect a wider target demographic.”
Sneaky Pete’s oats based beverages are available at several stores nationwide including Harris Teeter, Meijer, Shoprite. For a full list of retail partners, click here: http://sneakypetesbeverage.com/about/find-a-stor
